What is an escrow service?
Dnbiz acts as a third-party escrow specialist to provide security for your domain transaction. When you and someone reach an agreement of certain domains, Dnbiz facilitates the entire transaction process. For transaction amount less than RMB5000 (USD1000), no service fee charged. Transaction amount is RMB5000 (USD1000) or above, only 2% service fee.
Either a buyer or a seller can apply for the escrow service. All they needed is they both have accounts in Dnbiz. It is free to create an account in Dnbiz.
Dnbiz does not release domains until payment is received. After the domain has changed hands, we send out payment. It is your personalised insurance for your domain transaction.

How long will the transfer take?

A transfer duration has many variables, therefore it is impossible to determine a set timeframe for all transfers. These variables include:

The responsiveness of a seller in carrying out certain actions (a push within a registrar, unlocking a domain name, etc) can greatly influence the timeliness of a transaction.

The responsiveness of a buyer in carrying out certain actions (initiating a transfer request, etc) can greatly influence the timeliness of a transaction.

The domain name's registrar or registry has a good deal of influence on the amount of time it will take to get from seller to buyer. If a domain name is registered at a registrar where pushes aren't possible (DirectNic or 1&1, for example), it is safe to assume that the transaction will take a little longer to finalise.

To be safe, it is reasonable to assume that a standard domain name transfer takes between one and two weeks to finalise.
